well…not really. An epic slice of cheesecake, post-The Cat’s Tongue Chocolatiers-post-Red Velvet Lounge, was more than enough to send me into a sugar coma from which I didn’t recover until at least 11pm in the evening!
Don’t bank on it being there the next to you visit though, as the menu is constantly changing at Jam and Bread. Combining old world stylings with a modern approach to all things delicious, we were a little disappointed that we couldn’t partake of a few more tasty morsels…but we only had ourselves to blame for such a gluttonous afternoon! On the upside though, all the more reason to make the return journey down to Margate some time soon!
Go there. They make Margate a genuine Tasmanian destination for lovers of the crumb!
